My chair

Our little munchkin recieved this plastic chair from neighbors for her birthday. She LOVES it. Any chance she gets, she sits on it and kicks her little feet. So cute!

We had a good day today...met some friends at the mall for lunch and to walk around. It is super cold out and we wanted to get out of the house; the mall wasn't that busy.

Tomorrow is church. Chris has to usher and so we will have to be there early. I am not singing until next week, so I can sit and enjoy the worship and actually get to hear a message. Rachel has been going into the nursery for the last few months and loves it. She usually stays for the music part and then we take her out. She is at the stage where she likes to crawl around and walk along things, so having her in the service doesn't usually work too well.

I will try to write more next week...looking forward to warmer weather and green grass!

Good and Faithful

Our little girl is walking...well, almost. She walks behind her push toys and if she can hold your fingers. She is standing on her own for periods of time. I'm sure it will be any day now.
She is such a happy kid and is a joy to us.
We have had some sad things happen recently. The first is that my grandma was diagnosed with lung cancer. there is nothing they can do for her and we are praying and trusting the Lord that she willcome to know Him.
The second is that we lost a baby in January. I was 10 weeks and there were some complications with a hemorrhage inside. It has not been an easy road, but I know from the past that God is good and He is faithful. We are trusting that the Lord will prove Himself good and faithful even in this. We are sad to have lost our baby and are working through the grieving process. Please pray for us.
We also found out that Chris cannot stay at his job and is being transferred to another department. At first they said he would be done at the end of March and we weren't sure if they were going to transfer him at all. We know now that he can go back; he has a job for sure until March 2008. I guess he will be lookiong for something else in the meantime. Please pray for us during this time...it seems that like when it rains, it pours. We are feeling the care of friends and family at this time and hope that one day soon we can know in our hearts the goodness and the faithfulness of God.
